The Honours system recognises people who have given exceptional service to their community and the country and who have made a real difference to the life of the country. Honours Lists are published each year at New Year and in June on The King’s official birthday.

Anyone can receive an award and anyone can nominate another for an honour. Further information on how to do so can be found on the Royal Website www.royal.uk.
